Schools

North Lake Tahoe Schools make up one of the best public and private education systems in the country. The public system consists of Incline Elementary School, serving grades K-5, Incline Middle School for grades 6-8, and Incline High School. Lake Tahoe School is an independent school soon to open a new 33,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility to offer students in kindergarten through 9th grade greater opportunities in science, technology language, computer and performing arts studies.

Beyond high school, North Lake Tahoe is home to two college campuses — Truckee Meadows Community College and the only private four-year college in Nevada, Sierra Nevada College.
